Vietnamese Grilled Pork

Time: 30mins 

(Marinade needs to sit at least a few hours or overnight)

Serves: 2

Grilled pork

 

• 500g of pork belly thinly sliced

• 2x cloves of minced garlic

• 1x large shallot chopped

• 2x lemongrass stalks chopped

• 2x tbs of soy sauce

• 1x tbs of sesame oil

• 1x tbs white sugar

• 2x tbs fish sauce

• Pinch of salt and pepper

 

Step 1: Mix the ingredients thoroughly in a bowl, cover with cling film and leave in the fridge for a least a few hours or preferably, overnight

 

Step 2: Remove pork from fridge and pierce onto skewers. Place pork skewers either in a grill or on a BBQ and cook until crispy and well caramelised
